Leeds reportedly now have great chance to secure bargain £5.2m deal for 27-year-old – originally posted on Sportslens.com
Leeds can sign Okay Yokuslu from Celta Vigo this summer with the La Liga side now desperate to move him on according to a report from Marca.
And according to El Desmarque, the former West Brom loanee is up for grabs for just €6 million (£5.2 million).
Central midfield is clearly an area where Whites Marcelo Bielsa wants to bolster.
The Argentine is seemingly keen to add more tenacity to his engine room at Elland Road.
Leeds have been chasing Cagliari ace Nahitan Nandez for quite some time (Leeds Live).
As things stand, however, the Uruguayan is just a bit too expensive for the West Yorkshire outfit.
So Bielsa has allegedly set his sights on a more affordable option.
Leeds eyeing bargain Yokuslu deal
Marca claims that Celta Vigo are ready to sell the 27-year-old midfielder.
So the Whites should have a fairly easy task of bringing him to Elland Road this summer. £5.2 million is absolute peanuts for a player with the Turkey international’s quality.
Yokuslu would be a great addition for Leeds.
The 27-year-old made 16 Premier League appearances for West Brom this season. During those outings, he averaged 2.4 tackles, 2.2 interceptions and two clearances per game. He made 33.1 passes per match on average and recorded an impressive completion rate of 82.5%.
The Turk is gritty, tenacious, and plays with his heart on his sleeve.
Yokuslu would be a cheaper alternative to Nandez and would arguably be an even better signing for Bielsa.
The Turkish ace has experience of playing in the Premier League for a start and proved that he is more than capable of dealing with the intense nature of England’s top flight.

Yokuslu could be around £25 million cheaper than the Cagliari midfielder as well.
Former West Brom boss Sam Allardyce compared the midfielder to Real Madrid legends Fernando Hierro and Ivan Campo last season, as quoted via Express & Star.
Signing the Celta ace actually seems like a no-brainer for Leeds. this summer.
