‘Baller’, ‘Cesc Fabregas vibes’: Some Arsenal fans praise teenager’s display in Hibernian defeat – originally posted on Sportslens.com
A selection of Arsenal fans on Twitter were impressed with the cameo appearance from academy graduate Jack Henry-Francis against Hibernian yesterday.
The Gunners started their pre-season with a 2-1 friendly defeat to the Scottish outfit, but there were plenty of positives to take from the game.
A number of teenagers were given the chance to impress. Henry-Francis particularly caught the eye of some supporters with his 17-minute appearance.
The 17-year-old replaced Mohamed Elneny in midfield in the 75th minute. He impressed with his movement, quick distribution and desire to have the ball.
The youngster played his part in the lead-up to the consolation goal scored by Emile Smith Rowe in the 82nd minute. Here are some reactions from Gunners fans on Twitter.

A few of the club’s faithful have already compared him with former star Cesc Fabregas with the confidence with which he was progressing with the ball.
Henry-Francis could be one to watch out for the remainder of pre-season. He is still only 17 and may not break into the first-team plans anytime soon.
In recent years, the Europa League group stage has offered opportunities to young players, but the club are not playing in any European competition this term.
Henry-Francis was a regular for the Under 18s last term with one goal and three assists from 15 outings. He could earn promotion to the Under 23s next season.
The youngster has yet to sign a professional contract with the club. He could be offered one soon if he can produce a few more noticeable displays in pre-season.
