Rangers are reportedly looking to sign two players before the window shuts.

According to Football Insider, the Scottish champions are currently working on two major signings after bringing in the likes of John Lundstram and Fashion Sakala.

The report further states that the incomings will depend on the sale of the fringe players and the club’s progress in the Champions League qualifiers.

Rangers must look to bring in adequate reinforcements this summer if they want to defend their league title next season.

Celtic will be desperate to win the title next year and Steven Gerrard must prepare his squad to deal with the challenge from the Hoops.

Rangers have a talented core of players at their disposal but they need to add more quality and depth in order to juggle league football and European football properly.

Meanwhile, some of the Rangers stars have been linked with a move away from Ibrox this summer and it remains to be seen whether the Scottish champions can hold on to them.

The likes of Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent are among those who are attracting interest from other clubs.

Both players were exceptional for Rangers last season and the Ibrox outfit must do everything in their power to hold onto them for as long as possible.
