Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the purple is international Renato Sanches this summer.
According to Le 10 sport, the likes of Arsenal and Barcelona are keen on the 23-year-old midfielder after an impressive Euro 2020 campaign as well.
Sanches had an impressive club campaign last year as well and he helped Lille win the French league last season.
The 23-year-old has shown immense progress over the past year and he has the potential to be a quality addition to the Tottenham midfield.
The Portuguese international will add presence, drive, flair and vision to the side. The Londoners could definitely use a creative central midfielder like him next season.
They have been linked with a move for the Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar as well who has a similar profile.
It appears that the Premier League side have identified their lack of creativity in the midfield as a concern this summer and they are looking to fix that.
Sanches needs to join a club where he can play regular first-team football and a move to Tottenham seems ideal on paper.
He could form a quality midfield partnership alongside the likes of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Tanguy Ndombele.
It remains to be seen whether Spurs can now fend off the competition from the likes of Arsenal and Barcelona for the Portuguese midfielder.
