38-cap Int’l set for showdown talks regarding his future, Spurs and Arsenal keen – originally posted on Sportslens.com

Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are thought to be keeping tabs on the situation of the Real Madrid midfielder Isco Alarcon.

The 29-year-old playmaker has fallen down the pecking order at the Spanish club and he needs to leave in order to play regularly.

According to Daily Mirror, the midfielder is set to hold crunch talks with the newly appointed Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti regarding his future and he is open to moving abroad this summer.

Apparently, AC Milan are keen on the player as well and they are waiting to see how the midfielders meeting with Ancelotti unfolds.

Isco has just 12 months left on his current deal with the Spanish outfit and Real Madrid will probably feel that they should cash in on him this summer instead of losing him on a free transfer next year.

Tottenham and Arsenal are in desperate need of a quality playmaker and the 38-cap Spanish international could prove to be a smart addition.

Spurs have lacked a genuine creative midfielder since the departure of Christian Eriksen and the 29-year-old Spanish international seems like an ideal fit.

As far as Arsenal are concerned, the Gunners benefited from the loan signing of Martin Odegaard during the second half of last season and Isco could play a similar role for them next year.

Given his contract situation at Real Madrid, it would be fair to assume that the 29-year-old midfielder will be available for a reasonable price this summer and the two Premier League clubs should do their best to snap him up in the coming weeks.
