‘I beg’: Some Liverpool fans erupt after hearing FSG’s latest alleged transfer plan – originally posted on Sportslens.com
Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter in reaction to links with Inter Milan midfielder Nicolo Barella.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp wants to bring the talented Italian midfielder to Anfield this summer, according to TuttoMercatoWeb.
With Gini Wijnaldum joining Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool’s central midfield department suddenly looks rather short on numbers.
Klopp will be desperate to get his side back to the top of the Premier League next season.
However, if the German is to achieve the feat, he needs to strengthen his ranks at Anfield.
Barella would be a truly brilliant addition for the Reds.
The Italian is incredibly mobile and has an excellent engine. He is also very comfortable on the ball and has a wonderful range of passing.
He averaged 51.1 passes per game last season and recorded a completion rate of 84.9%.
Liverpool fans buzzing about Nicolo Barella claims
The Inter ace is the kind of player who would fit right in under Klopp at Anfield.
Some Reds fans took to Twitter and shared their delight at the news that the 24-year-old midfielder could be Klopp’s next big signing:
