Tottenham Hotspur remain keen on signing the Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic this summer but the player is keen on renewing his contract with the Italian club.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the 21-year-old striker would be a dream signing for the London club.
The Serbian striker had an impressive season with Fiorentina last year and he managed to score 21 league goals for them.
Tottenham need to add more quality and depth to their attacking positions and Vlahovic could prove to be a superb long-term investment for them. The Fiorentina forward could partner Kane in the attack next season.
Vlahovic is more of a target man and he could form a quality partnership with Kane, who is a complete forward. The England international likes to drop deep and help out creatively. The arrival of Vlahovic would add a new dimension to Nuno Espirito Santo’s attack.
The 21-year-old striker has the potential to develop into a top-class attacker in the future and he could be the long-term replacement for Harry Kane if the England international decides to move on.
Kane has been linked with a move to Manchester City this summer.
The young striker is highly rated at Fiorentina and the Italian club are thought to be keen on holding onto him beyond this summer.
It appears that Tottenham will have to come forward with a very lucrative offer to tempt the Italian club into selling lovage in the coming weeks.
