‘He’ll leave’ – Gregg Evans drops condition for Grealish’s potential Villa exit as City circle – originally posted on Sportslens.com
Aston Villa attacking midfielder Jack Grealish is wanted by Manchester City, and according to The Athletic’s Gregg Evans, it is understood he will leave if the bid reaches £100 million.
As it stands, the Premier League champions have not submitted a formal offer but are likely to firm up their interest in the England international with one in the coming days.
Evans adds that Villa are trying to stop Man City’s pursuit by offering Grealish another contract.

Villa’s realistic chances of holding on to Grealish are if he accepts their new deal, or if Pep Guardiola’s side refuse to bring £100m to the table.
The attacker is likely to wait for Man City’s moves before considering his club’s offer, though.
The Etihad Stadium outfit are also after Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane, and could need to stump up £150m to have a chance of landing him.
While spending almost £250m on two players cannot be put past Man City, it is highly unlikely to see them making such an audacious move this summer.
It is safe to say Grealish’s future hinges on Kane’s, as the noisy neighbours would not likely hesitate to go after him should a move for the Spurs star fall through.
With Champions League football and the chance to win silverware available at Man City every season, the Villa academy graduate is surely very tempted to secure a move.
Although Grealish is massively talented, if he were to join a club such as the top-flight champions, it would not be outlandish to say he would be viewed as a small fish in a big pond.
It does not seem he cares about that, though, with the opportunity to win the biggest trophies awaiting him over there.
