SL View: Long-term replacement for Xhaka
The 21-year-old central midfielder scored three goals and picked up three assists across all competitions last season and he could prove to be a quality long-term investment for the London club.
The Gunners could use some depth in the central midfield especially if Granit Xhaka leaves the club. The Swiss international has been linked with a move to Roma this summer.
Lokonga is highly talented and he has a big future ahead of him. He could be the ideal replacement for the Arsenal midfielder.
The 21-year-old central midfielder can operate in a defensive midfield position as well and his versatility could prove to be useful for Mikel Arteta during rotation and injuries.
Arsenal have a rich history of developing young players and the Belgian will be hoping to achieve his potential at Emirates if the move goes through this summer.
