Report claims club has received a proposal from Tottenham for 21-goal ace – originally posted on Sportslens.com
Tottenham Hotspur have made their move to sign the Fiorentina attacker Dusan Vlahovic.
According to Calciomercato, the Premier League side have made an offer to sign the 21-year-old striker who scored 21 goals in the Italian league last season.
The report further states that Atletico Madrid and AC Milan have also submitted proposals for the striker.
Apparently, Fiorentina value the player at around €60 million.
Vlahovic has a contract with the Italian club until the summer of 2023 and Fiorentina are under no immediate pressure to cash in on him.
The 21-year-old has caught the attention of several European clubs with his performances this past season and it is understandable why the Italian outfit are demanding a premium for his services.
The striker is highly talented and he has a massive future ahead of him. Vlahovic is far from his peak and he is only going to get better with experience and coaching. He also has the talent and the potential to justify a massive outlay on him over the coming seasons.
Spurs could definitely use a quality striker to support Harry Kane and the Fiorentina star would be a superb long term acquisition.
Furthermore, if the England international decides to leave the club this summer the Londoners will need a reliable goal scorer as his replacement and the signing of the Fiorentina striker would certainly make sense.
