Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Italian international Domenico Berardi.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Leicester City and Liverpool are keen on the 26-year-old Sassuolo attacker as well.
Berardi had an impressive season in the Serie last year and it is no surprise that his performances have caught the attention of the Premier League clubs.
The 26-year-old scored 17 goals in 30 matches and he picked up eight assists as well.
Currently, the player is away on international duty with Italy and he has been quite impressive in the European Championships as well.
The player is reportedly valued at €50 million this summer and time will tell whether his suitors are prepared to act on their interest and pay the asking price for him.
SL View: Berardi would complete Tottenham’s attack
Berardi is a right-sided forward who will add goals and assists to the side. Tottenham could certainly use someone like him on the right-hand side of their attack.
He could complete the London club’s attacking unit alongside Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min.
Berardi has a direct playing style and he likes to take the opposition on. The 26-year-old is also adept at taking up goal scoring positions in and around the box. He is also a hardworking player who will press the opposition into mistakes and help out his teammates defensively.
The Italian international could prove to be a quality signing for all three Premier League clubs and it remains to be seen where he ends up eventually.
