SL View: Quality defensive addition for Everton

Coady has been ever-present for Wolves since his move to the club and he could prove to be a quality addition to the Everton back four.

Apart from his defensive qualities, his leadership could also be very useful for Everton next season.

The Toffees need to add more depth and quality to their defence and someone like Coady will certainly improve the side. He will push the likes of Michael Keane and Yerry Mina for the starting berth.

The 28 year old can operate in a back four as well as a back three. His tactical flexibility will give the manager more options to work with.

Furthermore, he knows the league well and he is likely to make an instant impact.

Apparently, Wolves will have to sell some of their key players in order to fund their own transfer business and they could be under pressure to listen to offers for the former Liverpool defender.
