Last season saw Manchester City emerge as Premier League winners under Pep Guardiola, followed by Manchester United and Liverpool.
Arsenal were very disappointing last season as they missed out on European qualification.
They had a poor start to the season and never really recovered after that. At times, the Gunners played really eye-catching football, but the consistency in their game was lacking.
Massive summer transfer window ahead
Mikel Arteta needs to bring in more quality players to bridge the gap with other rivals.
The Gunners are expected to offload some of the high earners and fringe players at the club, with the likes of David Luiz, Granit Xhaka, William Saliba, Matteo Guendouzi et al are likely to be offloaded.
Arsenal have missed out on Emiliano Buendia who joined Aston Villa, but they are working on other targets. Ben White has been targeted to bolster the defence, while the club have already submitted a bid for Albert Sambi Lokonga.
