Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Argentine attacker Joaquin Correa.
The 26-year-old scored 11 goals and chipped in with six assists for Lazio this past season and his suitors will be keeping tabs on how he does for his country in Copa America now.
According to Gazzetta, West Ham United and Arsenal are keen on the player as well who is valued at around €40 million (£34.5m). The report however adds that the English clubs are not interested in paying more than €20 million for the attacker.
Apparently, Lazio are prepared to listen to offers for the player but newly appointed manager Maurizio Sarri will have a big say in the transfer.
SL View: Versatile attacker who could be useful for the right price
The 26-year-old Lazio ace can operate in the wide areas but he is naturally a second striker. He would add goals and flair to the side if he moved to Tottenham, West Ham or Arsenal this summer.
All three clubs could use some depth in the attack and Correa seems like a good fit. His direct style of play could help him adapt to the Premier League as well.
The Argentine has a knack of scoring in the big games and a club like Spurs could certainly use that quality. His versatility will also be useful for his suitors.
Correa could operate as a wide forward for Spurs or play as a backup option to Harry Kane. The 26-year-old can play in a front two as well.
He has enjoyed a good partnership with Ciro Immobile at Lazio and he could form a similar understanding with the England international if he moves to Spurs.
Meanwhile, West Ham will need to add depth and quality to their side if they want to do well in the Premier League as well as the Europa League next year and Correa could be ideal alongside the likes of Benrahma, Bowen etc.
