Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing the Barcelona midfielder Lucas de Vega this summer.
According to Spanish publication Sport, the midfielder could be up for grabs this summer and several teams are interested in the youngster.
Apparently, Tottenham made an offer to sign the player last summer but it was turned down.
The Premier League side are yet to submit a concrete offer this summer and it will be interesting to see if they come forward with an official bid in the coming weeks.
The 21-year-old is highly rated in Spain and he has a big future ahead of him. He could prove to be a quality long term investment for the London club if he manages to settle in the Premier League.
The young midfielder will need to play regularly in order to continue his development and it will be interesting to see if he is provided with the opportunity at Barcelona next season.
The Spanish club are well stocked in the midfield and the youngster could benefit from going out on loan if he is not sold permanently.
