Tottenham Hotspur are thought to be considering a move to bring Mauricio Pochettino back to the club this summer.

According to the Sun, the 49-year-old Argentine manager is now considering a return to a London club because he is unhappy at Paris Saint-Germain and he wants a second chance at Tottenham.

Star striker Harry Kane has been linked with a move away from Spurs this summer and the return of Pochettino could play a key role in securing the 27-year-old’s future.

Pochettino was integral to the England international’s development and he might be able to convince the striker to stay at the London club.

Furthermore, his return could play a big role in Dele Alli’s future as well. The midfielder has struggled to hit top form since the departure of the Argentine manager and Pochettino could unlock his potential once again.

Tottenham played some of their best football under the Argentine manager and he helped them reach the finals of the Champions League as well.

The Londoners sacked Jose Mourinho earlier in the season and former midfielder Ryan Mason is currently the interim boss.

Spurs have been linked with the likes of Julian Nagelsmann, Maurizio Sarri, Antonio Conte, Eric ten Hag and Gennaro Gattuso in recent months but none of those appointments seem likely at this stage.

Pochettino was admired during his time at the London club and his return will certainly be welcomed by the fanbase as well.  It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can finalise his return in the coming weeks.

Here is how the fans reacted to the news earlier.
