Predicted Aston Villa XI vs Everton: Smith to make three changes, 23-yr-old to start – originally posted on Sportslens.com

Aston Villa take on Everton in the Premier League this weekend and they will be desperate to bounce back from their abysmal run of form with a victory away from home.

Dean Smith’s side have won just one of their last six Premier League matches and the Villa manager will be under pressure to turn his side’s form around.

Everton have an excellent head to head record against the West Midlands club and Villa will have to be at their best to grind out a victory here.

The Toffees are undefeated in their last nine home matches against Villa.

The last time these two sides met earlier this season the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

The Toffees are coming into this game on the back of a win against Arsenal and they will be full of confidence here.

That said, Carlo Ancelotti’s men aren’t exactly in great form. Prior to their win over Arsenal, they failed to win five Premier League games in a row.

This will be a tough outing for both sides and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top eventually.

Aston Villa will be without the services of Trezeguet, Morgan Sanson and Jack Grealish due to injuries.

Predicted Aston Villa starting line-up: Martinez, Cash, Konsa, Mings, Targett, Ramsey, Luiz, McGinn, El Ghazi, Davis, Watkins

Smith is likely to make three changes to the side that drew 2-2 against West Brom last time out.

Ahmed Elmohamady, Bertrand Traore and Ross Barkley are expected to drop down to the bench in favour of 23-year-old Matthew Cash, Jacob Ramsey and Keinan Davis.
