West Ham looking to bring 61-cap international back to the Premier League – originally posted on Sportslens.com
West Ham United and Crystal Palace are thought to be interested in signing Aaron Ramsey this summer.
According to Calciomercato, Juventus could look to cash in on the former Arsenal player in order to get his wages off their books.
It will be interesting to see if the Hammers or the Eagles come forward with a concrete offer for Ramsey in the coming weeks.
SL View: Ramsey would add a new dimension to the West Ham midfield
The 61-cap Welsh international was outstanding for the Gunners during his time in England and he could prove to be a quality short term addition for the Hammers.
David Moyes needs to add some creativity at the centre of the park and Ramsey could be the ideal partner for Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek.
The former Arsenal midfielder has not been a regular starter for Juventus this season and a return to the Premier League could allow him to play more often. The 30-year-old has started just 12 Serie A games for the Italian champions so far this season.
He has already proven himself in England before and a return to his comfort zone could help him recapture his best form.
West Ham are missing a player like him who will add to the creativity and score goals from the midfield.
It remains to be seen whether the Hammers can secure European football for the next season. Qualifying for Europe could help them attract quality players like Ramsey this summer.
West Ham are currently 5th in the Premier League table just two points adrift of fourth-placed Chelsea.
