24-yr-old could be on his way out of Aston Villa this summer, club prepared to listen to offers – originally posted on Sportslens.com
Aston Villa could listen to offers for Wesley Moraes during the summer transfer window.
The Premier League side signed the Brazilian striker for a fee of around £22 million during the summer of 2019 but this player has been sidelined for about 15 months after suffering an ACL injury.
It seems that the West Midlands club are not convinced about him recovering properly and living up to the expectations.
According to Football Insider, Dean Smith was not convinced by the Brazilian before his injury.
The 24-year-old striker scored six goals in 22 appearances for Aston Villa before his devastating injury blow and it will be interesting to see if Villa can find any takers for him at the end of the season.
Apparently, a loan move is also on the cards which could help the striker regain his form and fitness with regular football.

Ollie Watkins is currently the first-choice striker at Aston Villa and Wesley will struggle to hold down a regular starting berth anytime soon. It is better for him to leave temporarily and regain his sharpness elsewhere.
It remains to be seen whether Villa decide to cash in on Wesley or loan him out at the end of this season. Regardless, they must look to invest in another quality striker to support Watkins. Villa are currently heavily reliant on Watkins for goals and the 25-year-old needs someone to share the goalscoring burden with him.
Meanwhile, it will be interesting to see if Wesley can return to action in the coming weeks and convince Smith to give him a chance to prove himself at Aston Villa next season.
