Predicted Rangers XI v Livingston: Gerrard to make one change, 28-yr-old set to return

Predicted Rangers XI v Livingston: Gerrard to make one change, 28-yr-old set to return – originally posted on Sportslens.com

Rangers travel to Livingston in the Scottish Premiership later this week and they will be hoping to close in on the title with another win.

Steven Gerrard’s side are in emphatic form right now and they have won 20 of their last 22 league matches.

They have an impressive head to head record against Livingston as well and they have managed to win seven of their last eight matches against Wednesday’s opposition.

The last time these two sides met in October, Rangers picked up a comfortable 2-0 win and the fans will be hoping for more of the same this week.

Meanwhile, Livingston are coming into this game on the back of just one win in five league matches and they will be the underdogs here.

It will be interesting to see if they can pull off an upset against the League leaders but it seems highly unlikely.

Rangers are currently unbeaten in 30 League matches so far this season and they have conceded just nine goals.

Gerrard will be without Nikola Katic and James Tavernier due to injury issues this week. 28-year-old Kemar Roofe should return to action from his injury for this game. That is the only change likely to the side that beat Antwerp in the Europa League last time out.

Predicted Rangers starting line-up: McGregor, Balogun, Goldson, Helander, Barisic, Kamara, Davis, Aribo, Kent, Morelos, Roofe
